I made one trip explained to Minka Goldstein what I wanted and she showed me a few places but we knew that none of them were quite right. I went back to the west coast Minka called me occasionally with new listings and then one day called and said this is the one perfect for you. She was right; I bought it sight unseen. There are no words to describe the level of gratitude and praises that I have for the Minka Group. I am a military officer and had been stationed in DC then transferred to St Louis. Our MD house was rented out to a very painful tenant who up and left leaving me with an uncovered mortgage to pay. I contacted the Minka Group to take over the house get it in move in condition and list it. Within 21 days my house had been beautiful restored to good-as-new move-in condition and 3 weeks after that we closed at a fair market price and my wife and I breathed a heavy sigh of relief. They took care of absolutely everything: all the recommendations were excellent; the contractors were very reasonably priced and did an great job; they staged it properly; and they marketed it exactly as promised. And then they did an outstanding job in working with the buyer's agent to negotiate what we all agreed was a fair price. If you are looking for an agent who really knows the business well the Minka Group is that agent. They were worth every penny. They stayed in touch they stayed engaged they followed through and got the job done. If I had other properties in the area to sell I would undoubtedly give that agency to the Minka Group.

We needed to sell our house quickly and to get a certain amount for it in order to break even as the market had tanked after we had bought high. Minka came in and made a list of suggested upgrades to our kitchen and a few minor cosmetic changes that would make the house show much better. She even referred a great contractor to us. Within a couple of days the house looked so good I almost hated to move. But we were able to find a buyer instantly and voila--we were able to move. She is a miracle worker. My best advice is let her lead you - follow her advice borne out of long and hard experience. Let her do her job and you will get great results. About Minka Goldstein
Minka Goldstein has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture. She moved to Montgomery County in 1978. She taught a variety of subjects at several schools and then became the director of the JCC's Art Department and their Art camps. She went to study Appraising and then decided to take the course to be a licensed Realtor. By the time she was licensed as a Realtor, she had 9 clients! And the rest is history. She has been a realtor for more than 25 years and does not intend to count any further. She loves to help people with designing additions, or changes to a house, and she still regrets that she never became an architect. She loves her clients and her colleagues.Areas We Cover
